Welcome to ShubhamLabs. This platform is built and maintained by Shubham Upadhyay as an engineering resource, open-source hub, and developer toolbox.

We believe that privacy on technical platforms should be straightforward, honest, and free of deceptive legal jargon. Our philosophy is simple: we only collect the minimum information required to deliver a fast, reliable, and collaborative reading and development experience. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run intrusive ad tracking scripts.

One of the core features of ShubhamLabs is our suite of 50+ in-browser utilities (including the JSON All-In-One suite, RegEx testers, Diff checkers, image compressors, and format converters).

Depending on how you choose to interact with ShubhamLabs, we may collect the following limited categories of information:

• Account Information: If you register or sign in via Google OAuth or email, we receive your name, email address, and avatar URL to create your profile so you can leave comments, like articles, and participate in community threads.
• Newsletter Subscriptions: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address solely to send you curated technical articles, engineering updates, and new tool announcements.
• Helpdesk Communications: If you reach out through our Contact Helpdesk, we receive your name, email, subject, and message content to answer your questions or assist with collaboration inquiries.
• Basic Technical Logs: Like almost all web servers, standard non-identifying server logs (such as HTTP request status, browser user-agent, and general referrers) are temporarily recorded for performance monitoring, debugging server errors, and mitigating brute-force attacks.

We use the minimal data we collect strictly for legitimate, user-focused purposes:

• To authenticate you and display your public profile name on discussion comments you submit.
• To deliver newsletter editions and platform notifications you specifically requested.
• To diagnose infrastructure errors, optimize server response times, and prevent spam or malicious abuse.
• To continually refine our developer tools and article categories based on aggregate usage trends.

We keep cookie usage to an absolute minimum:

• Essential Session Cookies: Used to maintain your authenticated login state securely.
• Local Storage Preferences: Used to remember your interface preferences (such as your Dark / Light theme selection) so your preferred appearance persists across visits without requiring an account.
• CSRF Protection Tokens: Standard security tokens to protect forms from cross-site request forgery attacks.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though staying signed in requires session cookies enabled.

We work only with reputable infrastructure and service providers:

• Authentication Providers: Google OAuth (if you choose to sign in with Google).
• CDN & Font Assets: Google Fonts and Cloudflare / FontAwesome CDN for lightweight typography and icons.
• Transactional Email: Secure mail delivery providers for account confirmations and newsletter dispatches.

We do not partner with data brokers or sell user lists under any circumstances.

We implement standard production security practices including SSL/TLS encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (Bcrypt/Argon2), secure session handling, and restricted server environments.

We retain account and newsletter data only for as long as your account remains active or until you request deletion. If you delete your account, your authentication records are permanently erased from our active database.

Regardless of your geographic location (including under GDPR, CCPA, or UK privacy standards), we believe you should have full sovereignty over your data:

• Access & Export: You can request a summary of the personal data associated with your email.
• Correction & Updates: You can update your profile name or email address.
• Deletion: You can request the complete deletion of your account and associated comments at any time.
• Unsubscribe: Every newsletter email contains a single-click unsubscribe link that immediately removes you from future mailings.

As ShubhamLabs introduces new developer utilities, features, or architectural enhancements, we may make minor updates to this Privacy Policy. Any significant changes will be clearly reflected on this page with an updated timestamp.
